28 September - International Day of Universal Access to Information (UN)
Access to information is one of the key human rights. Universal access to information means that every person has the right to seek, receive, and impart information.
Informed citizens are able to take informed and responsible decisions. Only when citizens know, how they are being governed, are they able to demand from their governments to be responsible and accountable for their decisions and actions.
Today we would like to share with you what we have been working on over the past two years. These are the results of our joint work together with you on developing a draft Constitution for the new Belarus. Join us, share your ideas, and promote together with us the democratic rights and freedoms.
